2000hp Lotus Evija is the latest creation by the British car maker, which has stunning features of design and driving experience. Some of its details are worth to dive in.

Expensive Modifications on 2000Hp Lotus Evija

In 2000hp Lotus Evija, side mirrors are replaced by cameras that sit near the front wheels of the car and they enable you to view the back of your vehicle. In fact it’s improved air dynamics, because mirrors would be an obstacle for the airflow, whereas the camera is not. Inside the salon near the roof in the front you can find another camera that replaces the traditional mirror as seen in common cars. Drag reduction system on the rear wing is another feature characteristic of Evija.

To increase the down force the wing can be tracked up and glue the car to the way. At the front you can inspect the radiators as well as the grills of massive size. The windscreen wiper which is another tool that slows down the car’s aerodynamics is hidden beneath the windshield. In the back, the headlights mimic the afterburners of a jet by their jaw-dropping design. Vents located at right and left in the back do most of the aerodynamic improvement with hollow details.

The doors of 2000hp Lotus Evija open upwards, delivering a hyper car aura  since your first interaction with it. As you step inside you discover the alcantara and carbon fiber mix of the salon. The design is well matched with the performance of Evija. The dash at the front of the passenger near driver is designed to serve as a space for more light flow. It also supplies the body of the car with stiffness. The steering wheel resembles that of a Ferrari –  again alcantara being with the main component. The electro hydraulic system brings a new experience for the drivers who like fresh adventures.

There are a dozen plus buttons on the steering wheel and all of them are spread from left to center and to the right, including phone operation, camera buttons, lights. Android auto and Apple Carplay are available in the salon.  Alcantara padding on carbon fiber seats provides the sporty look that 2000hp Lotus Evija has got. Metal straps on grey seats have the quote “For the Drivers” engraved, though it is more of a collection vehicle. The battery packs come in the rear of the seats.

Evija’s Performance and Power

2000kw of power deriving from the motor is a great indicator that this car is beyond your ordinary road cars. 1700nm of torque is equally impressive. The speed of the car enables the driver to reach from zero to 300 km/h in 9 seconds. Maximum speed tops over 320 km/h. Thermodynamics are great – providing the cooldown for better performance. 5 driving modes are available-  track, sport,  tour, city and eco. It can be controlled on the steering wheel.

Suspension comes inboard and it is more a helping hand to the center of gravity. Spring and damper ratio of 2:3 helps in the handling, as it reduces back and forth tilting at acceleration and brake. Electric motors of the car can deliver nearly 500hp each. No previous Lotus road car has ever offered such a fascinating feature.

Magnesium wheels are 20 inch large at the front and 21 at the rear. Pirelli is the company that assisted with designing bespoke tires for 2000hp Lotus Evija. The battery is 70kw/hour – enabling it to cruise up to 250 miles. Charging in less than 50 minutes is its best advantage. The estimated price of the car is 2 million pounds, which describes well the real demand of such a hyper car. Tested and designed in Norfolk, UK, you do not have to worry about the quality that this car brings to your garage collection.
