In the past Mercedes Maybach was famous for its luxury vehicles with big price. However lately they have decided to add a bit more variation and their collections now have an additional SUV which looks pretty insane.

There are plenty of changes in can be easily noticed from the first glance. First of all it is the replacement of Mercedes logo from the grill to the top of the hood. Pin stripes on the grill remind us of a suit, with their slim lines and chrome touches. Another visible change is the wheels on this SUV. With an additional price you can get 23 inch tires instead of 22. Color scheme is up to you to choose too. Dual tone will cost an extra 25,000USD.

The rear part has seen some upgrades. The exhaust pipes include now a thin line, which is quite distinctive and identical to Mercedes Maybach.

Inside of the car everything is luxe and sophisticated. As you open the door the stepper pops up from below of the SUV. Normally it is hidden when you have all the doors closed. Now a good thing about Maybach GLS600 is that it has leather covered interior components all over the salon. Here even the handles hanging near the inner edge of the roof have leather surface.

In the salon of Mercedes Maybach, everything is arranged for VIP relax. Control the seats with tablets and also switch through the massage modes, to enjoy a recovering cruise. Plus, you get the active workout vibrations to make you lose calories.

At the rear row, you get a small fridge for champagne with bottle holders. In fact, these holders grip the glasses firm enough so that the liquid will not spill around while driving the car. Not only champagne glasses , but a couple of other cups have place nearby. The latter can make your drink hot or cold by your choice.

Coming to the driver’s seat of Mercedes Maybach GLS600, a lot is exciting. You get a nice leather steering wheel in front and a stretched touchscreen with rounded corners, just to nominate the curviness of this expensive automobile. Have an additional cash to spend to maintain a fresh air inside? Then a scent appliance is upon your wish. The smell will be a mixture of leather and spicy tea. The screen behind the steering wheel is your performance indicator. Every high tech part is designed here for visual harmony with salon tones.

How does Mercedes Maybach Perform On and Off Road?

Now focusing on the performance of Mercedes Maybach GLS600, there are 4 modes to pick from – Comfort, Maybach, Curve and Offroad. Comfort is the basic mode without additional efforts, but it is still for calm rides. Maybach mode is to keep the rear seats relaxed and motionless, unlike the front where you could face each and every bumps and holes. The third mode is called curve because it is for cruising along the corners. It gives kind of a motorbike ride vibe, thanks to the suspension’s leaning either right or left. And for the last Off-road mode, just rev up and see all yourself!

The engine is a 4.0 V8, about 560hp. It gets additional 20hps from its electric battery. Automatic transmission of 9-speeds hits its maximum at 130 miles per hour, quite a logical stat for a heavy SUV stuffed with luxury. From 0 to 100km/h the vehicle reaches in 4.8 seconds.

The price of the car with only basic features is 160,500 USD, while luxe appliances might sum it up to $260,000.
